Holy crap Happy Holidays 2024 is like when you accidentally grate your knuckle while zesting a lemon. Bad in the moment but worse every time you forget about if for a few hours and then bend your finger or wash your hands and the pain comes stinging back.

If my employer hadn’t offered a full year of leave when I had cancer I would not have been able to spend countless hours on the phone arguing with insurance. Maybe I would have died. It sure would have saved the insurance co $$. I don’t condone murder but can we please change this fucked system?
