If you have Twitter/X, I would appreciate if you'd give a like to Tsuno's post. It's soo pretty and it was a gift. 😭

It's comments like this that make it worth sacrificing spare time on side projects. And still, I would prefer if block compression was just natively supported in VTube Studio, cause it could help so many people with heavy models.
There are occasionally glimpses of what they were going for with hand to hand combat and the developers have both improvements to hand to hand combat and car combat on roadmap, but unless you are CDPR fan - promises aren't something you buy the game for. Currently it isn't a game you can recommend.
And while it does make you do a lot of meaningless, repetitive tasks, it really isn't more insulting with it than like 90% of open world games. But for a game with this simple loop - it really needed to nail down both melee combat and vehicle combat and - as of now - neither are good.
Samson is clearly another one of those games that wasn't ready for the release. I don't think it's particularly misguided with its design - it does hit the gritty, cold late 90s vibe pretty well and I really wish more games tried it - I am just so sick of the quipy Marvel writing at this point.
Traveling half the world to meet model mama was totally worth it.
Tomorrow is the start of the longest trip in my life (and likely the longest trip I will ever take). Stressed to all hell, IBS acting up like crazy. I just hope it's worth it...
I have found a softlock in #Screamer that can be reliably replicated. It happens if you try to quit the race right before the finish line on the final lap in arcade mode. Doing it at the very last moment will just result in race result screen being shown, however.
I wasn't expecting to get stuck in Screamer for this long. It's the first game since Death Stranding, where I return to it to just play a bit more outside of the story mode.
This mode is so insanely addictive. One mistake and it's over.
> EGS login only required to invite friends from EGS and to have access to EGS friends list.
> EAC that doesn't stop you from playing offline or on Linux.
Modern gamers will do anything to just not have fun and prolong the domination of tedious open-world games 🫤
Screamer was a blast and despite VN segments being excessive, it lived up to my expectations, being *I think* the first AAA game since Doom Eternal, which managed not to disappoint. Still a bit flawed, but it felt a lot like late 2000s AAA games and I respect it for that.
I am pretty bad with photo mode, but Screamer still makes it easy to capture something that looks cool.
But at the same time, there are cases where you need to be passively in many servers. E.g. you work on autosplitters - it's like a separate server for each community, helped with tools etc. then you run out of servers. And you shouldn't be paying some 3rd-party corpo to be able to provide support.
The issue ultimately is that it's extremely detrimental for any software related knowledge to be locked down behind a dozen requirements and not visible from the internet and can be nuked at any moment without any archives. Especially that Discord can still use whatever you write for AI training.
The impact of you being in more servers is actually very small. You have to be actively checking servers for Discord to download actual content of messages, images etc. and for it to actually hit the servers. Which you won't be doing with more than 20 servers regularly anyway if you have a life.
I absolutely hate nowadays how over-reliant we became on Discord. Every time there is some issue or game announced and you want more information - you have to join new server. If you want to download certain mods - you have to join a new server... meanwhile, I have reached 100 servers limit 😕
This has such a cool, light and oddly nostalgic vibe. Love it!
In general entire soundtrack of Screamer is full of bangers.

Day 2 of playing Screamer. I am pretty much repeating that every hour of a stream - WE NEED MORE RACING GAMES WITH WILD STORIES. But then every VN segment I also have to remind that, this is definitely too much yapping and this game would be so much better off with less VN padding. 😫
While I am really enjoying the new Screamer, despite it kicking my ass, I can't stop but to think on how much the visual novel segments slow down the pacing of the story mode. They kind of make me wish there was just less of dialogues. It's a crazy amount of characters anyway.
I should have taken a day off. 😭
This year's April fools among game devs is going to be all about DLSS5 jokes, huh?
There is an intruder in our midst (literally bought it only for Playstation emulation). Really need to clean the old controllers, though.

"all geometry, texture assets and materials remain as they were in the original game"
Are you sure about this? Cause it looks to me like it has made some assumptions and generated some detail it shouldn't.
Digital Foundry really went full sellout mode for Nvidia and they are no longer hiding it like they used to a year ago, huh?
Hell yeah, that's exactly what I want! For a game to look like it was generated by Sora. I swear Slopvidia will do everything possible to just not to put more than 8 GB of VRAM into their graphics cards and have them be obsolete every 2 years.
I am sure people into lewd mods will enjoy it, though 🤮
Does it come with 10x frame gen as well?
I have decided to backport my spare time project back to Unity from Godot. 5 hours of work and I now have a system that automatically builds asset bundles so that if I ever ship it, the patches should be small.
I really hope I can finish it and that people will want to be featured in it.
