I like to hit events for general browsing. Sometimes I'll wanna hit a specific store inworld.
I use MP for specialty browsing like vehicles and stuff that usually isnt at events. Its a horrible experience tho, tons of shovelware. Sometimes i'll find stuff on mp, then go to their inworld to buy.
not just only pick some colors....its good to make special editions for weekend sale !

Imagine paying for this, a premium over whatever service theyre using to run it, and it cant even follow basic instructions. You're basically playing gacha hoping you get what you asked for.
They dont even have good examples.
I appreciate any event that takes pride in maintaining some sort of quality or ethical bar.
Engineers did amazing work on it so i understand where shes coming from. It's just the requirements for it were fucked, and changed over time ruining the vehicles practicality, and making it too multi-role.
I also imagine there would be sensitivity around the deaths as well.
A traditional rocket has a problem during launch, it seperates crew from the rocket. If a capsule loses control during entry, its shape naturally puts it in a safe orientation.
Both situations are 100% fatal in the shuttle, and will be on starship too.
Anything it could do would be done better by a more traditional rocket, including this hypothetical wingless cargo variant. It was a big dangerous LEO spacebus.
I think starship shares similar safety problems with its complete lack of a escape system. IMO rockets should have a escape tower. Period.
People give the shuttle a pass because it is admittedly very cool, one of a kind, and at least can put a lot of people in orbit.
But if you told me a vehicle lost 2/5 of its fleet in deadly incidents, killing 14 astronauts(75% of space deaths) i'd say that sucks big time. Trite opinion. I know.
Right i dont even understand what the usecase here is unless they fully generated the mesh with AI too. It'd be so easy to just make a triangle tiling pattern and apply it to the glasses, and IMG2MAT a popcorn image and make it tile.
I actually didnt look at the wireframe or UVs so thats possible.
They were doing the weird thing where they wont even admit their item is ai, and then will constantly move the goalposts, wont provide any WIP or screenshots of project files, act like the victim while doing nothing to prove their point. Really really weird behaviour.
I've seen some booths at Warehouse Sale get blocked on opening because of presumably copyright violations. I hope they have the same smoke for ai if its spotted.
I know Abnormality will incinerate you for using ai, i saw one of the typical obfuscating ai users get obliterated by the owner.
I think the unscrupulous consumption is just a side effect of the majority of people standing for nothing. We'll buy slave labour products as long as its cheap.

Actually going thru these events and looking at everything is making me realize just how much ai slop has infiltrated them. From the items themselves to the textures to the ads.
What a annoying experience.
