Your Party: they’ve voted to be at the bottom of every ballot - and I suspect the bottom of every poll, also

Today has been awful. My heart goes out to everyone whose day just got a little more grim when this ruling came out. Horrible, bigoted, terf island.

Hopes Sunderland's glassworks heritage saved with new £5m centre - BBC News Glassworks: Sunderland is set to replace the National Glass Centre, which is closing next year.

Absolutely wonderful news for Sunderland - but I think the cost highlights exactly why the choice was to get rid of the Glass Centre in the first place. Refurb was beyond justifcation in comparison to this cost - but God am I glad the tradition has been preserved here www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Lisa Nandy vows to bulldoze barriers in arts and turbocharge growth Culture secretary announces investment in arts at Gateshead summit and accuses Tories of stifling creative industries

One real highlight in here is £5million to secure the future of the National Glass Centre in Sunderland. It’s been under threat for a while due to spiralling maintenance costs.

Belfast rap group Kneecap have won their discrimination court case over the “unlawful” refusal of arts funding taken by then-Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch.

Kneecap were originally approved for a £14,000 grant, before Kemi Badenoch then rejected the funding.

Cardiff Council’s proposed blanket ban on student parking is easily one of the most egregiously age-discriminatory things I’ve seen in three decades of knocking about universities

It really is isn’t it? For years, the social media realpolitik has been “fit in or F off” for every decision that has been made with no hope of reversal, but now that it’s being used against them, they’re suddenly not happy

The GNE strikes last year were an awful time for getting in to work in the city. So glad there’s investment in the North East to improve the services.
