I've had bad results if I don't soak them for like 6 hours then i cook em for an hour in pressure cooker, let the pressure naturally release and then they seem like a good consistency. I should expand my bean repertoire, been just going with this mondo bag of pintos i picked up a while back
I'm pretty basic, been keeping me fed for cheap. Usually just make a creamy refried beans with onion/jalapeño/garlic added.
I will make red beans and rice type thing with them too. Occasionally try some other recipes. Dried beans /pressure cooker has been a great combo!
