It can be difficult. I find myself trying to change his mind on occasion, which is a futile endeavor. When it becomes tense or argumentative, I change the subject. Thankfully, motorsports is our common thread, so I always have a topic to pivot to. We frequently agree to disagree.

At 3AM on Monday morning, I’m going to Charlotte, North Carolina with my daddy for 7 days and 6 nights. We don’t agree politically, but we agree we love each other with our whole hearts. I can’t wait to spend that time with him, like we do every year. Don’t let politics get in the way of love.
