Just checked today and the No gen AI directory seems to have no more pending apps?? AND the application form is open? That can't be right. Anyway, appreciate any shares to get this into the hands of people who need visual artists for their projects!

sorry have to add my favorite one
The semester has started, I'm studying IT now and I am doing proper Maths for the first time in like 10 years.
It's uh... an experience
Never underestimate the power of a positive supportive post/comment you make to an artist. Sometimes itβs the only thing that keeps them going.
A digital painting of a floating knight wearing a crusader helmet and chain mail above bare, dead feet, carrying a rusty sword in their hands, in a bog. The sun rises behind them, silhouetting the other rusty swords sticking out of the water.
A digital painting of a middle aged woman with a wavy bob wearing plate armor and a bright red cloak brandishing a spear atop a ceratosaurus: a blue feathered dinosaur with a long tail and two horns atop its beak, spit flying around as it screeches at the sky from the top of a waterfall. They are lit by a sunrise, birds flying around tall mountain peaks in purple and orange hues.
A digital painting of a gigantic rock figure covered in fir trees sitting on the edge of a cliff, seemingly taking a break. In the foreground a human with pale skin is sitting on a bench, taking a sip from their water bottle and checking the map, mirroring the pose of the rock figure. They are backdropped by a blue sky with soft clouds.
A digital painting of a Black adventurer with their wavy hair in a high ponytail, wearing a purple cape, green waistcoat, and beige pants standing in front of a circular golden entrance holding up a lantern. A curious fox slaloms around their legs, while a small goblin in a purple jacket, a tall pink hat, and a belt full with letters stands in amazement, hands before their mouth and eyes wide. They have discovered a vault in which the candles on the candelabras are already lit, and is chock full of books, book cases, and curious items such as an owl skull with gems for eyes (one has fallen out) and an armillary sphere atop a pile of books in the foreground. Papers are scattered across the floor, and there's a mysterious air around the place.

"The great hunt". Illustration piece I did for Paul Scott Canavan's mentorship. It represents an haunt scene, the hunter is mounting a big white tiger with piercing white eyes -sign that she's blind- which is roaring as she's sprinting through the action. The hunter has heavy clothing on, inspired by the Mongolian and Slavic clothing. He has long black hair moved by the wind, and he's holding a sword in his hand, ready to defend his wood. The environment is a snowy wood, old trees and branches all around the scene, as the white snow covers them. The sun is setting, and the overall atmosphere looks pinkish, lightened by the lights of the time of the day. Pink, yellow and blue shading on the sky, as the clouds move, forming interesting shapes.
Illustration of a young elf with short brown hair and pointed ears kneeling in a misty forest, reaching desperately toward an ornate gold crown with blue gemstones that lies in a shallow stream just out of reach.
Crown King sitting on his throne of screaming skulls. He's surrounded by tangled trees in a horror and dark fantasy themed environment
Illustration I made for S.A. Harian's book Briardark. The scene is showing a young woman wearing a blue coat lost in an heavy atmospheric forest in which the trees tangles with each other and the roots are everywhere on the ground. The woman is sitting - knees down - on the grass, the look on her face seems scared and hurt while she tries to extract a glow arrow from her chest, dripping blood as she's looking at the viewer, terrified. Next to her, on the grass, there's a bloody knife almost hidden.

Hi there?! I'd love to be added to your wonderful list π
thank you kindly!
Dark illustration of a vampiric individual pointing fingerguns into his open mouth. The mouth emits a white glow and he looks a little annoyed.
Portrait of a pale man in the rain with long brown hair. He is crying, even though his expression looks like he is mostly keeping it together.
Dark illustration of a pale man with long, vaguely red-tinged hair. He has seven eyes in total, all of them blue with a black sclera. Behind him there's a faint image of a moth and a halo.
Illustration of a pale man looking somewhat alien with long, stringy white hair that has a bit of a wet vibe to it. His eyes are pupil-less and blue. Lines run from the corners of his mouth up to his ears, indicating where his jaw could split open.
Oh it's Trans Day of Visibility? ποΈ This one always sneaks up on me, somehow... BUT-
Trans person and artist here, getting back into art after an extended break π¦

A digital illustration of a medieval banner. It says in medieval inspired script "ye olde trans rights". It is decorated with plants and blue, pink, and white flowers.
Two portrait aligned digital illustrations of book covers. Left: An illustration of Afaeran and King Galdor from the webcomic Wundor. They stand in the centre, facing each other. They are bordered by Ancient Greek inspired white columns and an arch above them. The columns are covered with grapevines, vine leaves, and hanging purple grapes. Afaerun is an oche skinned elf with flowing light pink-white hair, and wears a curved silver and ruby tiara, he smiles as he looks at King Galdor. King Galdor is a purple skinned monarch with a single white horn growing from his head. He has flowing dark purple hair, and wears a red leaf laurel. He holds Afaerun's cheek in a romantic embrace. Right: The cover for the book The Need for Dandelions by Alex Larkspur. Two men stand back to back surrounded by depictions of dandelions. The man angled to the front is Galen. He has tan skin, red hair, and hazel eyes. A large portion of his face is covered by a burn scar. He wears a yellow tunic and brown pants, along with a pink flower pendant. He lifts up one hand, and looks concerned. The other man, facing towards the back but looks over his shoulder, is Sasha. He has light brown hair, dark brown eyes, and stubble. He is wearing leather armor and green shirt and pants. He is holding a sword.
2 different portrait illustrations side by side. Left: Alder is a green skinned eladrin elf paladin. He stands nude in a forest. He wears a gold crown of laurels on his head. He looks down at the ground. He holds a sword in one hand, and a sprig of alder branch in the other, he has a shield attached to one arm. He is surrounded by green trees and yellow flowers. Right: A digital illustration inspired by the pairing Hansry (Hans Capon and Henry of Skalitz from the game series Kingdom Come Deliverance). The illustration is influenced by a scene in the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice. It is separated into 3 panels. Panel 1: Hans Capon looks behind him in quiet shock at his bodyguard Henry. Panel 2: Henry has touched Hans' ungloved hand with his gauntleted one in a gentle hold. The panel is surrounded by blooming flowers: herbs and plants that Henry can forage on his journey. Marigold, St John's Wort, Valerian, Sage, Chamomile, and Dandelion. Panel 3: Henry meets Hans' eyes with an unreadable expression. He quietly yearns beneath it.
A digital illustration of a purple, green, and grey-blue themed bookshelf. The book shelf is filled with old tomes, Victorian inspired knick-knacks such as keys, teacups, candles, and a flask of a potion. On one of the shelves there is a framed picture of an anatomical human heart, along with a skull resting on a stack of books. On another shelf, there is a bust of Diana the Greek goddess.

I've seen ppl talking about using AI for reference but imo if you want your art to look janky just use 3d model posers
They WILL be janky but at least its you posing them, no stealing from others, and they have the correct amount of limbs
Bro pick up the dolls and play with them like God intended
Analyzing art is necessary. The problem is when people begin analyzing what they wish the art had been instead of what it actually is, and mistake that gap for a failure of the work rather than a difference in expectation.
...and me some time to save up. Win-win ποΈ
these are fuckin amazing holy shit. cursΓ©d be that i'm so far away from where you are bc I ADORE that style

Q: How do I get on this starter pack?
A: You can't, it's full. But if you're on the HireHumanArtists.com directory, you can get on the next one
Q: I'm on that but not on the list, what gives?
A1: There's a limit of 150 people per starter pack. You'll be on the next one
