Do not fear, the plan, very much, is to run the Bingo this year! But we may need a little extra time to get up and running, so we will be sure to keep you updated when we plan to start.

Lastly: When is the Bingo running this year?
Good question, ideally we’d love to be raring to go on the usual Nov. 1st but given the current mod busyness, we can’t yet confirm that’s our start date. It will depend a bit on how quickly we can bring in new mods and what changes we want to implement.

Bingo Mod Application, 2025 The Terror Bingo is looking for new mods! The Terror Bingo is a pretty chill event with no deadlines or chasing of participants. Moderation duties are light but consident until the end of March 2026....

We’re particularly interested in hearing from those who would find it fun to create new graphics (bingo cards and stickers) and those who love social media. More information on exact duties (light but consistent!) can be found in the application form linked below.

Firstly: New Mods!
Quite a few of the current mods are juggling many things at the moment, so to make sure the ball isn’t being dropped we’re looking to add some new mods to the team. Also, Tree is stepping down! (Thank you, Tree!)

It’s that time of year again, yep, it’s Terror Bingo prep time! The Terror Bingo, in various iterations, has been running for 6 long years (with this upcoming being our 7th), can you believe it? A seven year old fandom… god we’re so old.

I didn’t actually hit a (presentable) bingo in @theterrorbingo.bsky.social this year, but I really like the self-imposed challenge I gave myself at the start of last month when I realized work and other creative projects had kept me from starting it on time: literal thumbnail drawings.

You might also see some changes to rules next year, including new policies around remakes. This is to help us as mods get cards out the door quicker when we open next year. We will be sending out a follow up survey, so keep an eye out for that, and if you have any suggestions, feel free to share!

Without your participation, Bingo wouldn't be possible. We are looking forward to developing new methods to streamline the card-making process to prevent some of the gaps in timeliness you saw this year.

This is only the end of the formal event; you are free to continue creating using your Bingo cards. We just won't be checking up and sharing things regularly after today, creating new cards, or filling sticker requests.

We are so grateful to be part of this community and run an event like Bingo each year. It's always so much fun to see what people create.
