I fairly consistently question my direction of travel in life, but this morning the manager of my bank called to wish me happy birthday, so I must be doing something right. 😂

KCMO feels likes an actual city tonight, it’s kinda wild.

I want to play more Ghost of Yotei, but I also want to keep listening to vinyl, and, for once, the indecision is not causing me any anxiety because I’m too tired.

I did not know that I needed this.

Sometimes, when you just actively put off preparing for or completing something you do not want to do, the universe likes to randomly come out of nowhere and drop a People’s Elbow on it, and then you suddenly have extra time to focus on another, more pressing, project.

For someone who is perpetually professionally undermotivated, it really is amazing how frequently the universe conspires to aid and abet my behavior.

My reaction to seeing a child in my building is not unlike that of a normal person seeing a ghost.

Had a close friend tell me, if I moved to Chicago, he expected to see me once a week week, and, my friends, I hope you all have people who love you and seek your time.

Have now seen more shows at The Truman since it opened in 2017 than I have at The Bottleneck, where I have been seeing shows since 2002. Feels wild for some reason.
