I haven’t seen it used too much irl, though I live in Spain.. I heard Doctorow coined it to harness our feelings when cussing and bring attention to platform decay, and in that sense it seems to me to be well defined. Though I can see how trying to make it more memeable like that could’ve misfired

Mature politics entails that we let our hypothesis die in our stead when we are wrong.

A lack of critical thinking skills fuses our identities with politics.

Admitting that we are wrong then involves a messy process of ego death rather than a simple correction.

The fun for me is staying in the loop, scratching the different epistemic itches that arise during dev and I feel sufficiently powerful with git worktrees & adversarial critical agents. I don’t know if all this seemingly more powerful flows r for those that enjoy end products more than the building.
