This gives me mixed feelings, but I maintain that two things can be true at the same time:
1) This kind of indignity should not be visited upon any trans woman, including her. It is simply wrong.
2) Her views are repugnant and hypocritical, and she is in need of some deep soul-searching.
I'm just old-fashioned enough to think that a man who murders his wife doesn't deserve ANY tributes. I very much would like to see tributes to Dr. Fairfax only; ones that, if they mention her husband AT ALL, only reference that he was her murderer.

I've tried not to judge folks who publish there, and I'll admit there are a few I admire enough that despite myself I do go to the site to read what they write. But I absolutely refuse to support Substack blogs financially. Which is a shame, because a couple I absolutely would otherwise.
