Ich experimentiere gerade mit Plumber. Die Idee ist, eine R-Anwendung mit Browser-Oberfläche zu entwickeln, die ohne Webserver auf lokale Dateien zugreifen kann. Und ich will ohne Shiny die Freiheit von selbst geschriebenem HTML, CSS und JavaScript haben.
Was meint ihr: Machbar oder Spinnerei?

All the sub-cultures and languages of Balkania united. I strongly support this. All the internal conflicts would have to be resolved to a degree where peaceful dispute is all that remains.
Plus, it would make geography-classes so much easier for the rest of us in Europe.

Ich versuche gerade, knappe 40.000 Strings (Name-Vorname-Geburtsdatum), paarweise zu vergleichen und solchen, die sehr ähnlich sind, dieselbe Nummer zugeben - so dass mein Rechner es noch bewältigen kann.
R-Paket fuzzyjoin könnte eine effiziente Lösung sein.

Ich fürchte, so täuschen sich Viele. Der R-Interpreter meldet eben Fehler. Ein falsch angewendeter statistischer Test dagegen nicht.

That would sound very weird to my ears. I would prefer none native speakers to use a wrong definite German article. I mean, every educated German knows it's hard for foreigners. They should be lenient.
Keep going. The numbers are difficult to get right when you write them as words or speak them. But you don't need to get them super-correct in order for people to understand you.
Probably because the lower numbers tend to be irregular in many languages.
But anyway: If that is your biggest problem with German numbers... You're on the right path.
Mit "attach" kann man eine Variable (Dataframe o.ä.) zur internen Suche von R hinzufügen. Praktisch bedeutet das, dass man Spaltennamen direkt in weiteren Funktionen verwenden kann.

For once, not an American. I'm German. I actually briefly checked the history of several countries before answering - and none introduced women's suffrage after 1920. But I missed the fact that the British change in voting rights of 1918 included women only partially.

Are you talking about the USA? Because women's right to vote was introduced in 1920 in the USA. (sos.oregon.gov/archives/exh... for example) - around the same time most western states introduced it.
Your point is an important one. But by using incorrect numbers you weaken it.
