Where is the sports media narrative against spurs like it was against arsenal a day ago?

“On toast” when losing 1-0.

Don’t think that happened tonight.

Pagode.

Album #1

Beth Carvalho - No Pagode

No Pagode is a samba masterpiece—rich, vibrant, and brimming with Brazilian soul. Every track feels like a warm gathering of rhythms and voices. A must-listen for anyone who loves lively, heartfelt music.

Next week's genre... Pagode.

Should be fun with a bit of samba-style music.

Ambient Americana.

Album #5

Gastr del Sol - Camoufleur

Is upbeat but slightly chaotic—a glimpse of their early work. Not the most polished, but "Black Horse" stands out and deserves a repeat listen. A curious piece of experimental Americana.

Ambient Americana.

Album #4

Marisa Anderson - Into the Light

Into the Light is upbeat, twangy, and fluid—a gentle, springtime Americana Ambient journey. Feels like a western sci-fi soundtrack; might take a second listen to catch its full depth. Perfect for breezy days.

Ambient Americana.

Album #3

Barn Owl - Lost in the Glare

This album feels like a desert at night—mysterious, heavy, not your typical Americana Ambient. The soundscape evolves, taking you from darkness to vast horizons. Fave track: Turiya. Perfect for staring into the void.

Ambient Americana.

Album #2

SUSS - Gunslinger

There's a depth that blurs country and something you might find GY!BE putting out there. Gunfighter was my favourite track on this, with snippets from cowboy movies crossed with industrial sounds. Canyonlands ends the album perfectly.

Ambient Americana.

Album #1

Old Saw - Country Topics.

A beautiful album that blends that drone of ambient music with the sounds you'd expect in the middle of America.

If a Made in America Carhartt jacket could give you a hug while on a long road trip, this album would be it.

I am in a proper rut with music at the moment, so I'm going to try and expand my listening outside of the comfort of my day-to-day playlists, albums and artists to just get listening to different sounds each week.

First up, with a nice bit of alliteration. Ambient Americana.

Neither are right.

But the current standards of “ok” are not ok.

I asked this question to female members of staff that I worked with and when I flipped the narrative they agreed it wasn’t right.

Let’s hold all people accountable for a standard to make society better

We turned into a future of internet fame is cool

Sex workers who can become idols.
Do not get me wrong that people can do what they want to do.

A woman saying she has taken 100 virginities in a week is applauded in places.

A middle aged man doing that would be a different view.

When will we stop toxic men having “podcasts” and platforms to influence people.

Like, people who tune in to Rogan, Peterson, “4am bros”, “200k bros” need to sit down and re-evaluate what is going on.

Not posted this for a couple of days, but I've added a load more breweries as they've been migrating over here: go.bsky.app/FCoDYRx

As ever, if there's any here that aren't on here, let me know!

Anyone remember Celebrity Deathmatch?

Watched a couple of really interesting films over the weekend, that I'm still thinking about.
The Assistant w/ Julia Garner - bleak, view of the film industry and the multiple forms of abuse that go on.
Kneecap - chaos and passion rolled into a ball of drugs and language. Delightful.

Watched Minus Man last night.
Who knew that we actually needed a film where Owen Wilson plays an enigmatic serial killer.
Great times for late 90s film.
