It's ironic that when AWS finally releases a serverless Aurora they don't call it serverless, huh?

Reinforces that everything with "serverless" in the name isn't actually serverless

But; this is definitely the release of the year for me! Will make using relational databases so much simpler to use in serverless envs. No infrastructure, no vpc, scales to 0, multi-region, etc. This is awesome!

Some of the missing features will likely be added but guessing many of them are design tradeoffs and won't ever be added (like FK's)

First impressions of Aurora DSQL:

There's a some features missing in the preview, ex. no foreign keys, no extensions, no autoincrementing ids, etc so it likely won't be a great target to migrate existing apps to initially at least.
