campus is filled with smoke this morning & i’m in my classroom & i can smell it. people are coughing & some people (like me) have N95s but not as much as i’d like

twice a year i go to the Friends of the Library book sale & every time i come out winning. this time it’s 11 LPs, 6 CDs, 7 DVDs/blurays, & 8 books for $35. but every time, there’s always one thing that stands out & this year, it’s a doozy 😍

there are wildfires in & around Gainesville right now & the smoke is BAD. i will be wearing masks but i do worry about this right now

ingredients & ratio! do NOT use syrups but rather think about a base the way you’d think about baking. today i made a churro shaken espresso & it was mostly pantry staples (plus things that i had specifically for coffee like caramel sauce) like brown sugar, sea salt, etc (i got the recipe from IG)

like i had all this stuff in my cupboard from WAY BACK when i was deep in my home barista obession that i’d forgotten about that are great bases for flavored iced coffee drinks & now that i’ve made one & gotten it right?????
