Her smile dims a little. Talking about Wutai always incites a bit of guilt. But he’s so winsome she can’t help but be taken up by it.

As he speaks, her dark eyes soften, the corners of her mouth turn up in a smile. He’s unbelievably sweet. She doesn’t think she’s met anyone like him.
