I don't think it is a borough policy and at this time of year they should only be cutting down dangerous trees because of nesting season.

I will look into it and let you know if I can find out any more details.

The Olympics’ trans policy polices womanhood | Moira Donegan Sports bans have humiliated trans women and girls across America. Now, the Olympics joins in

The attacks on trans women in sport are driven by bigotry, not science, and based on the sexist belief that womanhood is defined by weakness

Prejudice against trans women is prejudice against all women

Rabbi who boasts of bulldozing Palestinian homes will light torch for Israel’s national day Human rights campaigners say honour for Avraham Zarbiv endorses ethnic cleansing and war crimes

Israel is not trying to hide its war crimes, it is celebrating them

Green MP: Labour caricatures working-class people over greyhound racing Hannah Spencer says minister ‘continuously offends people by saying working-class people don’t care about dogs’

Animal cruelty is not entertainment

Just like bearbaiting, dogfighting, and cockfights, these relics of history only exist so bookmakers can make profits from the misery of gambling addicts and tortured animals - it’s time animal racing was stopped

Tonight MPs will vote on the govt's latest attempt to crack down on the right to protest - this time through restricting recurrent protests.

Myself and fellow Green MPs will be voting against these plans; peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy and must be defended.

Landlords evicting tenants before law to prevent practice comes into force in England No-fault evictions made up one in three reports made to renters’ union Acorn in January

Labour's badly written Renter's Rights Act is allowing landlords to evict thousands more tenants for no good reason. The ban on no-fault evictions should have come in immediately to prevent this happening.

I encourage all renters to join @acornunion.bsky.social

Quote graphic from Zack Polanski, Green Party Leader.

"The King should be going nowhere near Donald Trump at this time. The truth is, Keir Starmer has waved this visit through because he's scared to stand up to this rogue president.

Starmer is telling everyone he's Hugh Grant, while the reality is he is imitating Tony Blair by involving Britain in another illegal war in the Middle East.
The reported 27 US B52 bombers taking off from British soil to bomb Iran is testament to that. "

Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE15 9GQ.

More people are now realising that the @greenparty.org.uk is a far better option
