Can we improve the performance of agrochemicals and use them in a more rational way?
In our research group, we believe that formulation (AgroMOFs) is the key to achieving this improvement

I’m really excited and honored to be part of the "Water Safety Symposium (WWS) 2026" that will take place in Benasque Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual. Abstract submission is still open (lnkd.in/dyK_3_sZ)! Can’t wait to be at WWS!
Great to visit with my research group the public school CEIP Fuentenueva (Granada) and perform some experiments with children aged between 4 and 8 years old. Also I organized the visit to the Department of Zoology and the "Classroom of te sea" in the University of Granada.
Finally we got it!

Here, we described the use of the first MOF of the Universidad de Granada GR-MOF-1 in the development of a highly selective temperature sensor to work in modern agriculture under greenhouse conditions.
A little bit late to share but on 11th I was celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in science with students from the CEIP VIRGEN DE FÁTIMA (Lancha del Genil in Granada). It's a pleasure to motivate children to choose STEM careers, and to realize that we are all capable of doing it.
The travel begins! Looking forward to see you all in Mexico! Empower women in MOF and Beyond!

Congratulations Shayma for your successful PhD defense entitle "Fabrication and characterization of transducers for environmental monitoring based on emerging flexible technologies". Co-directed with Almudena Rivadenyera from the Dep. Electronics & Computer Technology.
Today we have the first presentation assay with our Palestine origin PhD student. I cannot image how far was the trip to arrive to this moment, but I am sure her defense will be great! Vamos!!
