A woman covered in tar standing in a gloomy field with a small rainbow in the distance.
I did not find myself challenged by the BTs that used to feel like ghostly minefields in the first game. I also wish the story hit just a little harder and that characters were more utilized outside of cutscenes.

Sam standing in the colorful light as the ship arrives to the area.
The one time I crashed my truck and dropped all my cargo.
Sam, played by Norman Reedus, wearing blue heart sunglasses.
Sam, being "hugged" by an enemy.
Finished Death Stranding 2 and I'm still thinking about it. I found it overall easier to play than the first one. Though, I'm stubborn and skyrim'd my truck up to the mountain deliveries. I enjoyed the new characters, loved all the cutscenes, really got sucked into the story and loved the ship.

Forbidden Solitaire was a 1995 CD-ROM determined unfit for public consumption. Parent groups helped ban it in several countries due to its violence and the rumors of death left in its wake.
You found a copy in a thrift store in 2019. Do you play it?

Yeah, the gameplay was what was keeping me to keep up with it, but eventually I put it down.
I did find being stuck in the one city was sort of uninteresting. How to catch Pokemon felt really bland for me as well. I did like the battling at night.

My Pokemon Z-A character. Motorcycle jacket, black gloves, pale pink eyes.
My Z-A character getting angrily looked at by an Abomasnow.
My second favorite Pokémon, Sharpedo, yelling at me.
I've been sort of chipping away at Pokemon Z-A before bed here and there. I was having some fun because new Pokemon... but the fun for me is getting diminished returns. I haven't really enjoyed most of the titles for a while (except Arceus).

Grace, one half of the main characters, staring into a broken door window. Her clip-on flashlight shining through.
The other main character, Leon Kennedy, sitting in his car. Clearly older than the last time we see him in the mainline games.
Finished Requiem recently and I enjoyed my time with it. It has an okay balance of that really great atmospheric horror and over the top action the series is known for, though the tense moments diminish as you play. I had a lot of fun with it and most of my screenshots are of Leon, oops.

One of the tense moments in the game. Something illuminated by green lights looking into a room you are hiding in.
Leon Kennedy, still cracking sarcastic replies while in a tough situation.
I think the last fourth or so of the game is too rushed for me and I would have liked more going on there, but it didn't take away from the fact I had a lot of fun playing and genuinely liked the characters a lot. I loved seeing an iconic RE protag older, spending more time with them. Loved that.

A big beautiful gothic building set in black and white.
A familiar contraption illuminated in a blue light.
A beautiful house, with one of the ornate rooms bathed in green light with moonlight filtering in.
I enjoyed finding items and trying to figure out puzzles which had you jumping from film to film to figure it out and unlock new areas. My complaint is that the enemy stalking you gets tiresome pretty quickly & comes at you far too much, especially when I want to take in the gorgeous scenery.

The main menu of Dead Format.
Your sibling's apartment, the front door is backlit by a bright light. A happy birthday banner hangs with some letters falling down.
The Silent Film, black and white area of the game. Two statues are in the middle, with gothic architecture surrounding the area.
A creepy eyeball in the wall, with my fleshy gun pointed at it. Red lighting all over.
Finished Dead Format. A game about cursed horror VHS tapes that you go into to find your lost sibling. A concept that is so unbelievably cool, with different genres of horror to explore & figure out. The environments are so beautiful, gross and wonderful to explore. Visuals are this game's strength.
