A promotional graphic for a “GitHub Copilot CLI for Beginners” course. At the top, a pixel‑style “COPILOT” logo appears next to a small robot‑like character. Below it, text invites users to “supercharge your development workflow with AI‑powered command‑line assistance.” The lower half shows eight chapters arranged in a grid, each with an icon and label: Install, Modes, Context, Workflows, Agents, Skills, MCP, and Complete. The design uses bright colors and simple illustrations to present a step‑by‑step learning path for using GitHub Copilot from the command line.

I think from VS Code using local network ports for debugging and remote/dev-container features, macOS Sequoia now requires explicit permission for that.

.NET STS releases supported for 24 months - .NET Blog .NET STS releases will be supported for 24 months

.NET STS releases are now supported for 2 years instead of 18 months starting with .NET 9 (the current STS). STS releases now go out-of-support on the same day as the previous LTS release. Upgrading to an STS release will no longer cause you to lose support!

🧠 Using SQL Server 2025 Vector Search in .NET Aspire – eShopLite Style! Introduction SQL Server 2025 is super cool 😎 — and naturally, I had to test out the brand-new vector capabilities! If you haven’t checked it out yet, start here:🔗 To explore these features, I leaned into one of my favorite playgrounds: eShopLite — a collection of sample scenarios for an eCommerce app with AI-powered Semantic Search. It supports multiple vector database options like Azure AI Search, Qdrant, ChromaDB, and even MCP Servers.

The block accounts button

Bluesky is not twitter because we block losers before we even see their sad attention seeking. Think of it as vaccinating your account. Here’s an example:

1. Go to @skywatch.blue
2. Tap Lists and scroll down to MAGA
3. Tap subscribe & then block accounts.
4. All the magas now rot on the vine

For me, this would be a lot more compelling with a small display. I looked at the Halliday and Even Realities glasses, but they weren't (reliably) covered by vision care. I spent a while evaluating and figured things will change a lot in a year (which is now already half-way completed, so yeah).

I got some Meta Ray-Ban glasses this year, covered under my annual vision care allowance, which surprised me. They're okay for taking pictures without the distraction of a phone, and the AI "How healthy is the meal I'm looking at" or "Translate this street sign" stuff, but not life changing.

So, so true. The gap between design tools and the possibilities of the CSS based web platform is
getting bigger year by year. @ishadeed.com at #cssday. (Reminds me of @matthiasott.com‘s talk last year cssday.nl/2024/#matthias)
