I mostly post in my IG story but came here just to say that people at SFO are savages.

Stack your own damn luggage trays in the security line.

Inconvenience yourself just a tiny bit to not make the world shitty.

This might seem minor, but this is exactly why everything sucks now.

Picking Up Bones - The Rumpus “During all the years I’d lived in Las Vegas as a child, I’d felt like an animal trying to escape the harsh environs. In addition to the physical harshness, the desert represented, for me, the city’s ...

"I’m thinking about the bleached bones O’Keeffe collected as her symbols of the desert. I’m remembering that, like O’Keeffe, my parents initially came to the desert from the East Coast hoping for a kind of renewal." @jennyqi.bsky.social

No, ‘playing dead’ is the last thing Democrats should be doing | Megan Romer Party insiders are trying to make the case for doing nothing against Trump. That’s a colossal mistake

Guardian provides needed antidote to idiotic Carville #BrokenTimes op-ed:
"Ask the post-first world war German Social Democrats–they also believed that the Nazis would disgrace themselves and be rejected by the public once their true colors were shown."

Hi, I've been "here" for awhile but have yet to post. I've been traveling for the last 7 weeks through European countries with more experience with fascism and posting occasional travelogues on IG.

Trying to keep up with writers I like but avoid social media burnout + spiraling + moral ambiguity.

I'm not sure yet if this site has the same community of #freelance writers eager to hear a #callforpitches as the other side, but let's see if we can't find out.

@trailsmag.net is looking for pitches for Issues 10 and 11!
