How absolutely INSANE is it that congress takes these breaks even while the country is at war. At some point Trump is going to try and get rid of congress permanently.

Thanks for the reply. However I can't find any records of your name being associated with the Harris campaign. The original account that posted this on reddit has deleted the post which leads me to believe that this is misinformation.

If you can prove otherwise I'd be happy to support your claim.

The headlines today read like this:
- US hits the Ayatollah’s compound, claims to have killed the Ayatollah
- US hits multiple military sites across the country
- and Israel kills 100+ children in an Iranian all girls school

This is flying under the radar:

Donald Trump FIRED the DOJ official in charge of suing Live Nation-Ticketmaster for monopolizing ticketing and hiking prices.

Then, their stock jumped.

If Trump's DOJ takes it easy on Ticketmaster, it'll be a slap in the face to every American.

As a filmmaker I've been asking myself a lot lately, has youtube and tiktok changed the way we make documentaries? Think about the self-led documentary, Michael Moore, Werner Herzog, Supersize Me, etc. Do those types of films exist anymore or have they been relegated to the Youtube vlogger?

I’m making a documentary called The Big Stick about the community that survived this. Follow for more. (9/9)

Dr. Francis’s question was never answered. There was no threshold. There was only delay, and the consequences of that delay were measured in lives. (8/9)

When the FDA finally forced companies to pull the tainted product, they resorted to selling it to countries across Asia and Latin America. (7/9)

Between 1982 and 1984, up to 90% of people with severe hemophilia in the US contracted HIV. The death toll reached into the thousands. Many were under the age of ten. (6/9)

The FDA moved slowly. The CDC issued warnings that went unheeded. Across the country, contaminated factor remained on shelves, prescribed and administered to children. (5/9)

The pharmaceutical companies knew the risks. Internal memos would later reveal that executives weighed the cost of pulling product against the cost of litigation, and chose to keep selling. (4/9)

He wasn’t talking about a distant threat. A virus no one fully understood had already entered the nation’s blood supply. It would later be identified as HIV. (2/9)

In 1983, Dr. Don Francis pounded a table at the CDC and asked officials a question that would go unanswered for years: “How many people have to die? Give us the threshold of death that you need in order to believe that this is happening.” (1/9)

The real meaning of those ICE masks, as blurted out in a WA hearing A county sheriff, a rare MAGA elected official around Puget Sound, told state legislators he wants to mask up his deputies simply to defy authority.

And there it is

Problem is that closing DHS isn't a foolproof plan to actually stop ICE. If Dems get a supermajority in 2028 then that'd be one thing but in the mean time we can introduce hard limits on ICE's power to make an example out of those who are abusing their power.

@podsaveamerica I’d love for you guys to go into more detail about WHY Trump might want Greenland. The Mercator jokes are funny but you know Greenland has been under increased interest from Russia and China for rare earth materials. Ignoring this dumbs the pod down.

Today America is outraged at the murder of Renee Good. As they should be. But one day, I hope our nation reckons with the numerous number of Latino men and women who have already died in ICE detention facilities or in the process of arrest. All needless death and violence.

Very curious how the public will react to this sudden seize of Venezuela. Maduro was objectively bad for the country, but so was Hussein, it’s the aftermath that was the problem.

Mamdani’s new appointments chief resigns over anti-Jewish posts The mayor-elect's director of appointments is out after just a day on the job.

I was curious if these comments were actually anti-Semitic, and they are. However at what point did we become a society that is unable to let people make mistakes and grow? There are plenty of things I thought were edgy and cool to say 14 years ago that I would never say now.

I don’t know if there is a “good candidate” anymore. There’s the candidate that is well known, and the one people can get passionate about. Democrats were clearly counting on the former.
