Bought a Pioneer LD player when BestBuy began to close them out decades ago. There was only 1 LD rental place in my then-hometown area of ~200K people. It began the transition to DVD rental a short time later. Grabbed 3 for 1 cent from Columbia House and no more. Gave it away. 💔

So anyway, I decided that this morning I wanted - no, I needed - 3 eggs for breakfast. Got everything ready, cracked the first one which totally broke apart and landed not only on the floor, but also about half of it dripped down into the cold-air return vent.

I have a neighbor like that. He loves his leaf blower. After he cuts his grass, he spends way over an hour blowing every loose piece of grass (and dust) right out into the street - that's against city ordinance. In Autumn he blows every leaf out into the street also 😒

The UK gvmnt tried jamming the signal of one of them (don't remember which) by sort of layering noise on the same broadcast frequency as the pirate, so the pirate changed the frequency to one right next to BBC1, rendering BBC1 un-listenable. Fun times 😉

There were still some of these around when I was in the UK in the early 70's. My fave was Radio NorthSea. They were so much better than BBC1.

I nearly always have two loaves open at any given time - one whole grain and one of the GrtValu New York Rye. And occasionally a poppy seed and onion buns (but I tire of them and end up throwing out the last two - so ashamed of that).

I noticed it was $16 and change for the 2.25 lbs 80/20 here at their Carlinville store. Really wanted to make tacos, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. ☹️

I tried watching The Drew Carey Show last Autumn as I thought I remembered it being pretty funny, even on a hit-or-miss schedule. During my watch of season 3, I hadda quit. Nothing but fat-shaming and puerile "jokes". I won't be going back to it.

I agree with no celery. Hate it, but I do like the flavor. I put celery seed in every homemade salad. Oh, and I skip the grapes too. I can eat 'em right out of the pkg but don't want them anywhere else. 🤢

One time last year I bought a pkg of sugar-free instant pistachio pudding, and...yeah, it's not good. Thought it would remind me of the cooked pudding (with the skin on top) that Mom made when we were kids. But no. 🤮

I suffered w/leg cramps for decades. They mostly hit me in bed and walking it off kinda helped. They completely stopped after retiring since I wasn't on my feet all day. Only once (thank dog) did I have them in both legs at once and it hurt so badly I, umm, soiled myself (sorry for that image).
