Having a supportive a welcoming local TCG community was a big part of me coming out and accepting my trans-ness.

Coming out was scary AF so it was good to have kind people in my life at the time.

Post your favorite film from the year you turned 18

2009 wad kiiinda forgettable in terms of cinema. District 9 kinda did impress me a lot when I saw it back then. I'm not sure if I've rewatched it since tho? Maybe time to change that soon.

May Victor Orbán simply be the first in a string of countries engaging in overdue housecleaning by kicking their authoritarian leaders to the curb.

There's this influential first person game from the mid-2000s that's a short but very tight experience, isn't gun focused, has unique gameplay mechanics, is all about platforming, only received one massively expanded sequel, and has an ending theme song called "Still Alive."

No wait, there's two.

A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)

More context on this #Artemis II image:

* This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right

* The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon:

That's home. That's us.

That's home. That's us.

This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.

Taken after their translunar injection burn, there are aurorae at top right and lower left, and zodiacal light at lower right.

It's Trans Day of Visibility, but a shout out to the invisible trans people - the ones who haven't realised, the ones who haven't shared it, and, sadly, the ones for whom it's just too dangerous to be yourself in public.

I might not see you, but I know you're out there.

Happy transgender day of visibility.

I'm not always a very visible, or outspoken person. It is very important for us to be visable and outspoken, especially with so many trans people facing so much hardship right now.

Let's keep being seen and heard.

It was fun especially in the early days, figuring out how to play her before she got more solved. I'll admit she did become kinda linear towards the end of her time

Could be a bit of wait till we get to crack Storm Striders for the cheeky wizard W

Gonna need a new hero for Nats season lol

It's been nearly 3 months since I broke my hand in an accident.

Today I finally got to get out on my skates for the first time since. I had such a lovely day and I was glad the sun was out and shining.

Summmer may be fading away but I'm determined to be making up for lost time.

Too often the things I tell myself I need to get done, are defeated by the urge to be eepy. It's a vicious cycle.

The newly revealed #fabtcg set might be a miss for me. Don't get me wrong, it looks great but I never bought into the Lightning card pool so there isn't much for me.

At least we get a limited season again. I've missed doing drafts.

Still back to cardboard hibernation for the meanwhile.

Fortunate to being living in the best part of the world to see this year's only lunar eclipse.

Unfortunate that it's been raining all day today, and it ain't looking like it's gonna let up any time soon 🙄😭

My lunar estrangement continues...

As of tonight, licenses of trans people across Kansas are being invalidated en masse, enabling the overnight criminalization of an entire group of people for going about our lives. It’s often said you never know when you’re living through history, so let me assure you: that’s what’s happening now.
