Actually, now that you mention it I haven't remembered too many dreams recently 🧐
I haven't been on here in a while so I hope this gets out in front of someone. I love what they have done for adding more ways to experience TTRPGs and hope they can get some help out here. Times are ruff!
I don't know if you're talking about work stuff, but just wanted to throw out a bit of solidarity from a stranger on the internet. I often feel like this and sometimes it's the right move, but a lot of the time it's more just my burn out. I don't know what is best for you, but I wish you the best!
I’m confused by all the Afroman talk. Dude thought supporting Trump and ending police immunity would somehow go hand-in-hand? www.instagram.com/reel/C7as6px...
I genuinely hope more people are spurred to action that share common, core values with the Dem base because the current politicians are not living up to their promises.
Hope he finds a match!
So grim
Many families & individuals face SNAP benefit cuts (read: are being starved) in November. Please donate to your local food banks. Money generally goes further than donated food because food banks can purchase in bulk.

This young 43 yo really was impressed when he ripped Purple Rain during the Super Bowl and it actually started raining on him.
Today’s No Kings protest could be the largest single-day protest in U.S. history.
People have power.

Anyone familiar with the political culture of the Trumpian GOP will not be surprised by this reporting on today's Young Republicans, but all decent human beings will be appalled by it.
BREAKING: The Israeli military has taken custody of seven living hostages shortly after they were freed by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The military says they were handed over by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Right now it feels like we’re experiencing collective ADHD when it comes to how long we can focus on any issue. And because there are more issues than any one person can handle we end up being overwhelmed and feeling useless. Except to scream into the void aka social media.
The main reason I think about it is because it still seems like so many are not truly admitting what the problem is, because you can’t policy away racism in the individual. But if we are clear and honest about the root of the problem then we work towards tangible goals.
With the way people are talking about Reform in the UK it is revealing how many people want racist policies and leaders. As much as so many of us believe we have come so far there are still many who want to isolate themselves even if it means violently kicking others out.
Something I keep seeing come up in places like the US and UK is how different orgs are responsible for propping up people like Trump or Farage. While that’s true I don’t think that’s the root of the problem. Take Trump getting elected to a second term. People chose to vote for him knowing who he is.
I keep thinking what would be an example of a system that does? Is it possible to have consequences for leaders who say they’re going to do something and don’t or do the opposite? It feels like a system built to legitimately give the best QoL has to rely a great deal on trust.

Reminded once again about the ways in which tech and IT can stress normal people out. Build systems that make people want to use your stuff without feeling like one mistake could ruin them. Give these people peace FFS!
Breaking: Trump has officially lost the Nobel Peace Prize.
Instead, the Nobel committee is awarding the leader of the opposition in Venezuela for supporting “democracy over dictatorship.”
Just add @karekareo.bsky.social CR put out an intro that touches on this if you want to check that out. youtu.be/nY1JaWT-CKo?...
You’re doubling down on the original point of Marco’s post. Are you unable to take any legitimate constructive feedback here?
This is not a critique on the poster or anyone else. Just my own observation (Tressie may have said this already too). The whole point was a TV spectacle to show themselves being “alpha males”. These types of men love to exercise control and make people sit and listen to them literally held captive.
How many conservative parents do you think wish they could have lived openly in this way and now that their kids can they encourage it?
I had a lot of critiques of Harris, but nothing that would have pushed me so far as to believe Trump was a better candidate. I didn’t believe his promises on Ukraine, on Gaza. But I did believe him when he said he’d deport people. And I believed Harris when she said he’d send in the military.
When you look at the campaigns Trump ran vs Harris you can pick them apart, critique them and have really good points as to why people didn’t support Harris. The fact is that not enough people picked Harris and more people chose Trump over Harris. I think Americans really still can’t accept that.
