Clark Kent walks in to an office "Lois? What are you still doing here?" Lois Lane, seated in front of a laptop, turns around. "Wuh? Clark? Could've sworn you'd be home by now." Clark pulls a chair to the side and looks concerningly to a stressed out and tired Lois. "You look out of it." He says. "Ugh, I'm supposed to have this article done by tomorrow. Dyslexia's kicking my butt right now. Usually my sister proofreads my stuff before I send it to the team." Says Lois. Lois leans her cheek against her hand in disappointment. "I haven't heard back from her all day. She's probably on an international flight and it slipped my mind."

Clark asks "Why don't you ask someone at work to look it over?" Lois pauses. She crosses her arms and looks to the side. "It's tiring y'know. You double major in English and Journalism, but still get "compliments" about how good your English is." As Clark listens to Lois talk, the background transforms into space and stars. Lois continues; "I can't just be disabled and a writer. It's always something else." Clark: "..." Lois: "I don't even know why I'm telling you all this. It's not like you've ever had to deal with that."

If I told my younger self that not only did I go BACK to school for animation, I haven't been able to find work in it and instead lucked into a data entry job by working as a hawker with the director of accounting, they would think I was making shit up.

"Is it something that can wait for after rest?" Aldiirn asks, his face all but spelling out his lack of enthusiasm for the detour. It's late, he's exhausted, his injured arm is in a sling, and while his hair may be fabulously freshly washed all he wants to do is sit and count inventory. Luckily, or unluckily, the projection maintains the pep programmed into it. "I am unaware of the nature of the conversation, but of the little I could glean from Gale's mind it is a matter most urgent." Aldiirn sighs. "Alright, where is this location?" "Excellent! Simply follow yonder path!" Aldiirn sets down the path of torches staked through the surrounding cursed forest. Curiously, the curse starts to abate, the trees becoming less twisted and gnarled... or is this another illusion? The lights ahead seem to say yes.

I highly recommend that everyone follow artists. If you do, your feed is filled with art every day. Real, original art. It's bonkers that you can even have this. Amazing. Undeniably cool.
