Another one of those cars, in South Africa at least, that were ubiqitous and then suddenly became rare. Their usefullness in the local Toyota range was completely obliterated by the arrival of the Fortuner, and the current equivalent is just a rebadged Suzuki Ertiga.
I'd rather have that cockpit than the very practical plastic dark greyness of my Suzuki π
Not particularly practical with the high tailgate. I have experienced trying to load very heavy machinery into the back of a MK1 Golf, and it wasn't fun at all.
And a Smurfing good Easter to you too π₯³
Aah... I can't believe no-one's mentioned Gooooldfingaaaaaah!
At first glance, in that shade of blue, I thought: new Subaru looks nice!
Neat that they included the Consul Capri, which I imagine a lot of people had forgotten about by the 80s.
TIL that the Lada Niva is still being built and sold... in 2026?! It was introduced the year before I was born... π³ #weirdcarbsky
This was the pinnacle of M-B design, I've loved these for as long as I can remember them being around. I look at their cars now and wish they still looked this good.
They're very popular here in South Africa, sold as the Starlet and the Suzuki Baleno. Cars.co.za did a video about the Toyota/Suzuki "Collab": youtu.be/fNtNl_W7uIo?...
ClichΓ© perhaps... but Egg's Benedict, hands down π€€
A fluffy white Jack Russell mix female, with blond patches and pointy ears lies fast asleep in my arms, with just the tip of her tongue poking out.
There's nothing quite like having one of your sweet furry babies fall asleep in your arms π₯°

Happy New Year BSky peoples! May 2026 bring all the very best to all of you πππ₯³
MTV is officially ending all of its music channels.
In honor of that, what's your favorite music video?
For me, it has to be Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel. A stop motion masterpiece.
Thank you Chris! π₯³π
So... this is 47... I think I'll be ok π
Boyfriend, pizza, sex... sounds like a great night out with @avesplantae.bsky.social π
The book looks like it'll be an excellent read!

Merry Christmas Rich, hope you have a wonderful day π₯³
The fact that at first glance I read it as "Slutty Golden Tornado"... π€
The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go.
What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?
To me, this was absolute perfection. Still one of my favourite albums of all time.
