Reader, I sighed & then teared up. This is such massive help. $16 million helps 2,750 families cover rent through June. He’s trying to raise the other half. And the dude also delivered laundry during the siege.
Successful debut for the Minneapolis traffic safety camera pilot. Speeding down by half at a handful of intersections that had cameras installed.

Two female ICE agents popped the hood of their car and knocked on the door of a mechanic born in Mexico. He went out to help.

A man described by the Trump administration as the "worst of the worst" faces deportation to Laos over a crime he committed more than 30 years ago.
But his family describes him as a source of calm and a helper. He's been an engineering technician for the city of Minneapolis for 27 years.

To commentate Valentine’s Day, community members and Recovery Bike Shop help put hearts along central at spots where our community members were taken. In the last 3 months at least 38 people have been taken around central Ave.
Eight former U.S. Attorneys in Minnesota released a letter Friday condemning what they call the “ongoing damage” to local law enforcement efforts by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Trump administration.
There has been no draw down today. ICE snatched someone off Central Ave out of his car because he looked Latino before then letting him go a couple hours later. They were stopping people in Blaine on highway 65, they were all around Fridley, and were in the parking lot of the St Anthony liquor store
Even as leaders of Minnesota’s globally recognized resistance movement claimed victory, some urged continued vigilance after the announced reduction in federal forces in Minnesota.

Small business owners represent the American Dream. But the fear and uncertainty caused by Operation Metro Surge has been a crushing blow to business.
We need an end to this campaign of retribution and we need to reopen Minnesota for business.
Team USA Curler Rich Ruohonen:
"We'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention what's going on in Minnesota...I am a lawyer, as you know, and we have a constitution... and what's happening in Minnesota is wrong. There's no shades of gray. It's clear."
Beware of phishing scams. Protect your personal information. Know how to spot and avoid scams when making financial contributions.
There have been reports of phishing attempts using the current situation in Minneapolis to gather personal or financial information. Residents and community members should remain vigilant against scams and phishing attempts to ensure that donations go to a legitimate source.
ICE is having a devastating impact on our small businesses here in Minneapolis. Businesses are having to close because of the terror ICE is inflicting on our community.
Now is the time to reach out to your federal representative to let them know you don’t support funding DHS.
There was so much ICE activity today. A group of agents spent the whole morning inside Jimmy’s Bar and then ended up driving erratically all throughout the Holland & Como neighborhoods, eventually trying to park at the 2nd precinct police station.
We’ve seen lots of reports of legal observers being arrested in North Minneapolis, South Minneapolis, and Eden Prairie. Exercising your first amendment right to observe is not a crime.
This is exactly why congress can’t give another penny to DHS.
💯💯💯
Minnesota media has by and large been doing an amazing job doing what media should be doing - being out there capturing what's going on. Thankful for all of their work (and support it with my $$)
Hispanic businesses are being hit hardest as customers and employees hide from federal agents — or leave Minnesota.
With the immediate removal of 700 federal agents from Minnesota, border czar Tom Homan put the total number of agents remaining in the state at approximately 2,000.
That’s still a dramatic increase from the normal immigration and enforcement staffing in Minnesota of around 150 agents.
A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.
For the evening shift …
We celebrate the return of Liam & his father Adrian, while also knowing that ICE has been as active as ever staging at Powderhorn & Folwell park today.
