Everyone deserves to live in a peaceful community, but we've seen Trump's agents turn neighborhoods into war zones. That's why I voted 'Yes' to help pass HB 5024, which will stop Trump's detention centers near homes, schools, daycare centers, and houses of worship.
Yesterday, joined Northwestern Hillel for a Passover lunch and had the chance to hear directly from students about their experiences as Jewish students on campus, and what we need to do to continue ensuring they feel safe while attending class. Thank you to Rabbi Lott for the invitation! (2/2)
