New Year’s resolutions always ring hollow to me so this year I’m taking a leaf out of Helen Stephen’s book and visualising habits I want to keep up by reminding myself of how they impact my mood. And yes, I know it’s March already! I’m slow, okay!

This is Lunuganga, or part of it anyway. It’s an incredible estate by architect Geoffrey Bawa – if you’re ever in Sri Lanka you’ve got to visit and walk around the gardens. Just watch out for warthog poop!

Negotiating the stairs
A short comic about a nosey elderly street dog energetically following a woman walking her puppy. The puppy looks unnerved by the older dog’s curiosity.
There are loads of street dogs about & this used to make me extremely reluctant to walk my own dogs, but Baby Milo’s still small, so I’m desensitising him. Things can get unnerving when they keep following us, but so far they’ve left us alone beyond their territory. This guy was by far the nosiest!

Finally finished the kabaragoya drawing. I’m not sure why but the illustrations I spend the most time on are the ones that don’t look as great as I hoped. Anyway 🐊
