You read my tone as snappy. I wrote it as informative, from the perspective of a creator, to give a counterpoint and perspective, because she had said she wanted a /fully new head/ for it. Since you've painted me as an antagonist, though, I doubt you'll consider my pov.

I did not say that she refused to buy anything. In her original post, which I replied to, she expressed disappointment that the furby mod did not come with a whole furby head, and instead, had additional parts for a preexisting head. My counterpoint was simply that it was unreasonable to expect.

That was not what I said at all? I used Ange as a reference for the timeline that heads take to create, as she is one of the most prolific furry head makers in all of SL. Please, reread what I wrote.

Do you... Know how much work it is to sculpt and rig a head? Not to mention animations. Ange takes full months to make hers. Give it a go yourself sometime. Then, reassess your disappointment.

Not to mention the time spent uploading, sorting, assembling the mods, writing out note cards.

One head means it's 100 textures for ten colorways. Two heads means it's 120.

120 textures. Ten linden for 1k textures, per texture. That's 1,200 linden. That's almost five dollars. Paid IN, on top of /hours/ of work. So???

So. Say somebody does ten colorways. One head, one tail, one ear set. That's five textures if they do just a unisex body. If it's unisex, male, female, that's ten textures, because heads need mouth textures.

If you add even one additional head, that's twenty more textures to upload,
