People who still might be holding out on showing up en masse to protests or still doubting that No Kings held any use, this is the result - doing so makes it visible to others on how unpopular the ruling power is and helped push ones on the fence to view Trump as such.

Democrat Hector Mujica has launched a campaign to unseat Republican Rep. Carlos Gimenez in a Miami-area U.S. House district that swung massively to the right over the last decade. Trump's nosedive with Latino voters, though, gives Democrats reason to hope for a rebound.

These are all good questions! I'm not in a hurry to hazard a guess simply because it's too easy to fall into a trap of, "Dems must be doing better because they're finally doing what *I* think they should do!"

But @gelliottmorris.com & I are working on a poll designed to tease this out!

Great chart here showing that the improvement in the standing of congressional Dems is due to a *big* shift among the most liberal Democratic voters.

There's any number of possible reasons why, but we'd need further data to do anything more than guess (which Montgomery wisely avoids).
