anyway they’re twisting antitrust doctrine/precedent like crazy while claiming the teams are the ones actually twisting it & i really hope there’s an antitrust genius on their 4th circuit panel who can see right through their bullshit
choosing to participate in a monopolized market doesn’t make it any less of a monopoly. imagine saying consumers shouldn’t be able to sue ticketmaster because they knew the prices would be stupidly high before they bought the tickets & they could’ve bought something else instead. it makes NO sense.
this argument is so fundamentally flawed when you put it in any other context like imagine arguing NCAA athletes shouldn’t have been able to challenge the fact they weren’t being paid because they knew they wouldn’t be paid beforehand & should’ve chosen to do something else. ZERO logic in that.

yeah i would say the counterclaim press conference completely blows up this argument they tried to make & leaves the judge an opening to say “hey i warned you & you didn’t listen”
the judge might roast NASCAR over an open flame even if he doesn’t dismiss it considering he said in a previous motion he was really tired of both sides making inflammatory statements to the media

it takes a certain level of skill to, in a less than 12 hour time period, 1) find out you got the lowest grade in your class on your midterm 2) find out you lost the appeal you argued & 3) get a parking ticket as you’re walking out of the building, but trust & believe i experienced all 3 today 🙃
i lied tennis fans were mostly right because any legit claims in this lawsuit are undermined by paranoid conspiracy theories & bullshit that exploits legitimate grievances to create an even worse system lmfao
the thing is they have legitimate, interesting allegations and then they discredit themselves by following them up with baseless, ridiculous allegations & ofc tennis fans only see the ridiculous ones & focus on those & it’s sooo annoying
i used to be involved and on days like this i am so grateful to be mostly out of it

Excited to hear what you think! it’s thematically and cinematically dark so i consider it to be a good show to watch/rewatch in the winter. Also best soundtrack of any show i’ve ever watched imo.
hulu i think! my dad & i bought all the seasons back when it aired so i’ve never really streamed it
season 4 is the best season of television ever made btw zero misses
