again, not trying to come for FD here, I've just been following this discourse somewhat closely and have a different perspective on it, and want to hear more from other viewers/creators. Also, I'll link the criticisms I'm referring to below

there is a toxic fringe, and there always will be, but there's also people like hasan, badempanada, kavernacle, shaun, big joel, and others, people who've been involved, at least in part, with online pro palestine media coverage, and whose criticisms towards Contrapoints' post were (imo) substantive

not coming for FD here, i agree that fringe vindictive online voices are unhelpful (and ultimately liberal, as FD rightly points out) but like, I wish we didn't have to center these voices in a conversation about liberal zionist rhetoric from a major "online left" creator

there are conversations to be had about things like the political utility of words like zionist, or the immobilizing effect footage of gaza can sometimes have on us, but if u haven’t said shit for 2 years, you don’t get to start them. let alone use them as a way to justify your silence
