the thing is, your expectations are kinda superficial and broad like dont get me wrong im not dissing here like thinking bout rocking cute matching emo fits or some shit in the city like thats fire i see where youre going most of these things dont really, break or build a relationship though i think, especially if you have close companionship outside of your partner to fill the gaps where you don't have mutual interests i do think you cant overstate how important it is that if youre gonna build a real relationship with someone that yall can trust eachother completely, you cant never argue or never have shit happen, but its being able to work through that because you care for e/o but, even if it sounds dumb to say, people are in fact deeper than just those things you see - what are they passionate about? what do they despise? how have they grown into the person they are now? what motivates them to do what they love? you cant find someone whos the exact same as yourself, so how can you go out there and look for someone that you complement as much as they do you? how can you find someone that you can connect with, and maybe even trust or love, over and in spite of your differences? how can you find someone who'd put you onto something you'd never thought you'd like, or vice versa? someone who has their own thoughts that they share with you, that you dont always agree with? someone who you'd be sick to your stomach because you don't know if theyre okay? love and attraction is weird man and there wasnt a wrong answer this was just to see where you're at what if you had exactly what you wanted but it still wasn't love? you had exactly what you wanted but you just wouldnt care if they left tomorrow? how would you react if you found love, but it was completely outside of the mold you've expected? alt text cont in next photo
