I had a video call with my friend, she is in the last stage of her PhD program. An ABD.

I told her I remember a year ago, around this time, January 2024, I was in her position. Juggling between teaching, dissertation, and applying for jobs.

Now, a year later. Life much more balanced 🙏🏽
