Really wish Pauper locals were not on a Thursday I have not been able to go for a month just cos I cant finish work in time to actually make it to the store before the tournament starts. Hopefully standard picks up a little at my nearer lgs's so I actually have a reason to go.

Normally starts 6:30 and runs till end, normally 3 rounds of swiss. so like 9:30-10 finish depending on if many matches go to time. Its insane whiplash playing TCG tournaments after so many fgc, works so similair but so different at the same time lmao

I have one Pauper deck and it was like £60 total and im buying another atm thats like £60 as well. Ill be going next Thursday if you wanna come along? Can see what the decks are on mtg goldfish if you wanna see what the meta is like, its in a pretty good spot atm, way better than standard imo 💀

Also just as a bonus for Pauper the first few times I went, Kieran the dude who runs it has tons of meta decks and just lends them out, so even to try it you dont need to build a deck. Can just ask him to borrow one, thats what I did before I started to build my own.

I wanted to get into Standard but icl its dead here atm, there is one store that runs it in North Shields but I dno the people who go. Pauper and Pioneer get ran at Travelling Man, mostly same group and they are great Pauper is a ton of fun. Hoping Standard might make a come back with foundations.

After beating Metaphor I thought it was time to finally try P3 Reload and its very good so far and stylish af, but holy shit is Press Turns and infinitely better combat system than One More
