ugh, that's insane. I had a cyst removed from next to my left ear when I was 14. bc it was "on my face" it was thru plastic surgery (albeit, pediatric) and I remember it being weirdly pricey for the consult beforehand.... idk why specialists (especially plastic surgeons) are so expensive
