The thing I’d hated to see go is the level/scenario design, which is what I think the modern Zeldas so deeply lack and what OoT mastered and ultimately inspired so many other games.

As someone who greatly dislikes BotW and TotK from a design perspective, I would be happy with this. I would like it to have more gating, retain the thrilling story, make weapon acquisition progressive rather than hand you all the tools at the start, and, hopefully, retain the handcrafted feel.

Not sure if it counts, but, to me, DARK REIGN is the peak of the modern Marvel era, and all the titles were lifted by that exciting status quo shift. But, outside of that, my favorites were: House of M, Civil War, Spider-Island, Secret Wars, Secret Empire, King in Black, Annihilation and Conquest.

I think there are more of us out there than social media suggests. I wanted to like it, love it even, but I just cannot see what others are seeing. And, I haven’t seen someone make a counter-case for the book that has given me any insight into what they are seeing that I’m not. But, I’m open to it.
