On The Cushion is an event created to give film students a space to share their work. Two short films will be screened by students currently studying in Busan.

This Saturday at Cafe Han Dee, Algorithm Free and On The Cushion collaborate for one big event. We'll screen 3 short films, along with guest talks by each director. And of course, we'll have our usual session of sharing creative recommendations in a phone-free space.

Tonight we watched I Saw the TV Glow and with neither of us knowing anything about it before watching, I kept having to pause to excitedly tell my wife about all the Buffy references I spotted.

Last night, we had 172 minutes left to midnight. Five seasons of Fargo are now on Netflix, and the first episode is 70 minutes, so we thought we'd watch it. But as soon as we started, we realized there are no Korean subtitles available for it on Korean Netflix. Which is quite a strange choice.

The Muppets Christmas Carol is a film I have watched every year for as long as I can remember. I'm glad to see it get more attention this year, but lately I've been thinking about one line that just doesn't hold up.
