With our Big Lives plan, those ambitions will become a reality, allowing us to be a better, bigger and bolder organisation that supports even more people.
It gives us a clear direction, strong priorities, and a shared vision for the organisation we’re becoming.
United Response exists because we want to break down the barriers in the way for the people we support and for all people with a disability.
And while we’re proud of our work so far, we have big ambitions for the future.
Today’s the day - our Big Lives plan is finally here! 🥳
Everyone deserves to live a great life. But for many people with learning disabilities and autistic people, too often, they don’t have equal access to that gloriously ordinary aspiration.

What an absolutely amazing place - take a look and see for yourself 💛

As Service Manager Matthew puts it: ‘One of our biggest goals within the area is to give people a voice, and give people with learning disabilities a safe space for them to be able to come thrive, engage with friends, and develop and learn new skills.’
And most importantly, it gives people the chance to improve their wellbeing, express themselves, try new things, and live independently.
