Random question as I'm thinking about the moderate in religious terms: I'm understanding "moderate" as someone who agrees with the status quo but is quiet about it. Does our language of the "third way" inhibit us to think beyond the binary theologically?

Thinking about the churches doing profound ministry who aren't big. Or friendships that aren't flashy but are faithful. Or books that aren't best sellers but well written

Thinking about how we equate success with numerical growth and platforms, regardless of character or well being. But thats not the case, in my experience
