10) or any real evidence of foul play except in the two cases in which shooters were positively identified (one killed himself, the other is in custody).

9) The only "reports" directly cited in the Comer-Burlison letters were four stories that appeared over the past month in two sensationalistic tabloid papers, The Daily Mail (UK) and N.Y. Post. None of those articles contained any direct evidence of links between any of the ten cases.

8) Reza was one of perhaps thousands of engineers who worked on AFRL-funded rocket projects during that era.

7) McCasland has been linked with the UFO topic based on a single ambiguous leaked email written by Tom DeLonge in 2016, and on McCasland's role as director of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB from May 2011 until October 2013.

6) The only individuals mentioned by name in the letters were NASA scientists David Hicks and Monica Reza, and retired Air Force MajGen William Neil McCasland. Hicks, a comet-asteroid expert, died of natural causes in 2023. Reza and McCasland disappeared in June 2025 and February 2026, respectively.

It is very good that Rebecca Watson gives credit here to years of work by investigative journalist "Signals Intelligence," whose posts on Medium and X extensively document the real-world history of Bob Lazar--scientist-impersonator, felon, and creator of ever-morphing tall tales of alien technology.

It seems evident that neither the reporters nor their editors know the difference. The adjective "pump action" makes it more likely that the weapon actually was a shotgun, although the matter is not free from doubt.
