Realizing the reason why it feels like I have so little time is because I spend too much time thinking about what to do and not enough time actually doing things

"Am I German or Autistic?"

I felt this quiz was nonsense because of how easy it is to figure out which answers correlate to which result. It's easy enough to get whatever result you want. It seems that people like it well enough, though, so maybe I'm being too harsh.
Aweiril Foosls LMAO idiot
Guys, am died :(
Most likely, these counterarguments come from conflating the original poster with the people who seemingly insist that absolutely EVERYTHING should be translated one-to-one. There was never any indication that the OP believes that. It's purely bad pattern recognition.
The original poster didn't even make any hard claims about what percentage of official subtitles are mistranslated... They said "a lot", which is a subjective term. If there is even one line mistranslated every few shows, that's already potentially good enough to satisfy "a lot".
One of the replies points out that if you understand Japanese, you'll know that what you call a mistranslation is just a problem of you not understanding nuance... but I don't think there's a nuance in the Japanese language where the number four is sometimes three.
Someone made a post about how a lot of official anime subtitles are inaccurate. It's receiving some pushback, and that's weird to me after we just had a Frieren episode translate "four" as "three".
Tokyo Ghoul and Jujutsu Kaisen were the other big manga I've read to completion, and I fell out of love with both of them long before they ended. Chainsaw Man, I liked right up until the sudden end, and that's a nice change of pace for me.
There were plot threads that could've been settled prior to the final arc. If they were, I'm sure people wouldn't complain as much about the ending.
But these were plot threads I'm okay with being unresolved. I don't have strong feelings. It's not very good, it's not very bad... It does its job OK.
I'll try to keep it concise even though it's physically painful for me to keep my thoughts in 3 posts instead of like 15.
I think the Chainsaw Man ending is fine and a reasonable conclusion to the arc we were at. The only thing is that the arc could've happened later and been more satisfying.
idk i might make a thread on my actual thoughts later

Ugh, now I need to find another manga to follow. The only one Iβm following weekly is now Dandadan, which doesnβt hit the same.
Saw someone say they're "kind of oppressed a little bit" because too few games have women with big tits and ass these days

Chained Soldier season 2 definitely is a big step-up from season 1. Does that mean I think it's as good as it should be? No... but that might be an unreasonable expectation given it's an ecchi.
The manga's still clearly superior so far, but I can at least recommend season 2.
They ended up not doing a bad job at all! It was no MAPPA, but I'm still satisfied with how it was animated.
Finally, my profile picture now has color.
I'm in the "the style is not for me" camp and felt similarly about Choso vs. Naoya as well, but people take things too seriously for some reason. I don't really understand why anyone would get heated about an anime episode, of all things.
I don't know why the discourse surrounding the most recent JJK episode is like
"man the people who like this episode are delusional!"
"well you're impossible to please!"
instead of
"yeah this style's not for me"
"yeah that's fair. I liked it"
Okay, okay. Episode 3 was a big step up. They even did a good job with Yuuki's slave form. Maybe they can handle the scene my pfp is from after all.
why are so many vtubers named ββββ?
(for some reason I guess I prefer hentai when the characters aren't obsessed with sex, which undoubtedly makes me an anomaly. episode 3 had zero sex scenes and it's my favorite so far lmao)
So far, the guy acts like a normal person instead of a sex crazed weirdo like other hentai characters, so it's surprisingly decent.
The girl is really tropey, but... she has her charm, sure.
For the record, I'm not into incest in hentai, but
1. I want to watch things I know I won't like to better inform people checking out my MAL and AniList about my tastes
2. The episodes are so short, I can tolerate them no matter how bad they get
I decided I might as well also watch Ichigo Aika since it's so short. It's a hentai where the 2 main chars are step siblings. That sounds like they wanted it to be incest without making it incest, but they haven't had sex yet. I expect that to change.
And the fourth anime I'm watching this season is Jujutsu Kaisen.
I've read the entire manga already, and honestly, post Shibuya is where things started going downhill in my opinion. I've always thought it'd work better animated, so I'll probably enjoy this season if they do a good job adapting it.
I wanna say it gives off more cute and wholesome vibes than horny and sexy vibes, but I might be crazy.
Decided I may as well watch Does It Count If You Lose Your Innocence to an Android? since the episodes are so short, and you know what? It's not bad! I kinda like it! Nice little bite sized yuri episodes. The animation is just ok, but I like the art style. Not my kind of humor, but not too unfunny.
