Sorry I didn't have my good camera with me. But you can see the little porcupine having a tasty snack way out on the left limb of the tree-- hanging out over the road. It was great fun to watch dropping sticks and trying to turn around on that (not very large compared to that rotund body) branch! Super cute.

I spied this spunky little porcupine high in a black willow (salix nigra) on my drive today. ❤️

The kinds of trees you grow does matter to wildlife. Willows are underrated imo. They're excellent wildlife habitat+food. Plus, they couldn't be easier to grow!
