New MacBook Pro day today. The dichotomy of migrate or start from scratch (but then install everything as it was anyway).

First generation on my Mac Mini M2, I gave it access to my family iMessage account and I had to shut it down after 24 hours!

Currently setting up Frigate and Home Assistant in my Raspberry Pi homelab. The AI HAT+ (original) for inference and detection. So far, so good
No, it’s no on a par with Claude ai, but for n8n and analysing logs, and also adding image descriptions to my website, it will do nicely. Also have plans to use it with Frigate for local, home security.
Raspberry Pi has just launched the new AI HAT+2, which runs LLMs locally in the HAT's dedicated 8 GB of RAM. It’s fast too - 40TOPS, in just 2w of extra power. Cheaper than a month and a half of Claude AI Max.
