Ancient Herefordshire finds uncovered at event A recent finds day at a museum identified Herefordshire archaeological objects, including some that were thousands of years old.

Great to see colleagues from Cardiff and Swansea getting a mention - well done 👏 www.herefordtimes.com/news/2495865...

Love this republican denarius struck for Q. Metellus Pius c. 81 BC. Elephant on the reverse and what I want to believe is a diplodocus (and not a ?stork) on the obverse. Found in Cheshire and reported to @susieflo.bsky.social this week. Record: finds.org.uk/database/art... #FindsFriday #RomanBritain

Had a blast at the PAS annual meeting in London yesterday! It was so nice to have the PAS Cymru team all together in one place for the first time ever, and lovely to meet many Finds Liaison Officers from across the border!
