Great to see colleagues from Cardiff and Swansea getting a mention - well done 👏 www.herefordtimes.com/news/2495865...
Love this republican denarius struck for Q. Metellus Pius c. 81 BC. Elephant on the reverse and what I want to believe is a diplodocus (and not a ?stork) on the obverse. Found in Cheshire and reported to @susieflo.bsky.social this week. Record: finds.org.uk/database/art... #FindsFriday #RomanBritain
We've had to reschedule .... so same time, same place, but on 17th January. Spread the word!

Me, Nicola and Susie (three of four PAS Cymru finds officers) smiling in the atrium of the British Museum.
The outside of the British Museum at night.
The glass ceiling and classical-style facade with four large columns at the British Museum.
Etched pub window that reads British Sporits whiskey and gin, Taylor Walker in ornately etched panel below. Blue icicle Christmas lights hang at the top.
Had a blast at the PAS annual meeting in London yesterday! It was so nice to have the PAS Cymru team all together in one place for the first time ever, and lovely to meet many Finds Liaison Officers from across the border!
