I have to get the last two kids through school. Youngest is in last year of middle in a Special Ed program I spent three years fighting to get him into.

Finished Hyperion by Dan Simmons. World building is good. Some tech is not adequately explained so is effectively just magic. Probably has to do with age of book. Liked the way character backstory was introduced.
Mostly believable characters and motivations. Definitely overly descriptive (wordy)
