30 games. Top 8 advance. (Maybe the other teams play their own second season for draft pick order.)
14 games. Top 4 advance.
6 games. Top 2 advance.
Best of 7 final.
Total: 114-117 games for the champ. Up from 98-110 now.
We definitely don't need 162 or 82 games to decide upon a 12 or 16 or 20 team playoff field. No sense of urgency.
