My pet idea (for example, the NHL):
60 games. Top 16 teams advance.
30 games. Top 8 advance. (Maybe the other teams play their own second season for draft pick order.)
14 games. Top 4 advance.
6 games. Top 2 advance.
Best of 7 final.
Total: 114-117 games for the champ. Up from 98-110 now.

We definitely don't need 162 or 82 games to decide upon a 12 or 16 or 20 team playoff field. No sense of urgency.
It's just like how the sun functions in Utah and Arizona during DST.

Mr. Met should be wearing the same hat! Infinite Mr. Met.
if nothing else, a non-zero chance that we'll get an executive order renaming them the bullets soon.
And now he can sell that jersey for ANOTHER set of tickets!
Is asking USA to wear red, white, and blue really too much to ask? Everyone else looks great.
It's a starter marriage.
Unforgivable.
Totally agree. The Commies' path to victory fell apart with those first three fumbles. Daniels wasn't perfect but he did his job imo.
A lot of poor production decisions from CBS.
Come on Alex you have to catch those.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but wtf ABC!?! Release the footage!

Is the cure to Male Loneliness running Weak Iso out of the I-Formation?
My first thought was the mid-2000s NFC East with Parcells/Gibbs/Coughlin, but even excluding Andy Reid those coaches' average age was ~64 in 2006.
I love the former players coaching their old teams. Glenn, Vrabel, Ryans, Harbaugh, Campbell. Is this an all time high? It's delightful.
Oh gotcha. Thanks!
I'm not following? Neither Erat nor Latta contributed to the Cup season, did they?
Ask me in three weeks.
Why not just take the delay of game? From that distance and on that hash, moving back five yards has to be a wash.
It was a bad play but a good decision.
NCAA loves making rules that kneecap the option.
I think this is the first. ChatGPT lied to me a few times trying to confirm.
Ted's outkicking his coverage!
having a hard time mustering much sympathy lol!
The Jim Zorn hire -- hired as OC before a HC was hired, then promoted when Snyder was worried about fan blowback to Jim Fassel -- has to be a contender.
All that work and then Keenan Allen completely mistimes his jump.
This is obviously the fault of Dr. Pepper's Fan Tuition Giveaway.
