I've kinda settled on keeping my hair between about chin-length and almost shoulder length, it's cute but manageable, any longer and it starts to get annoying

each season (only 12-13) may as well be standalone, but that's fair

this goes for a lot of shows but symphogear in particular because I really like it and am sad when people don't get to see how it improves, even just the jump in animation to season 2

I want to show people more of symphogear but it's like impossible to organize to watch a whole show more than like 1 or 2 cour without it falling apart

I made all my friends come up to the roof so we could look at it with binoculars
honestly wasn't expecting to be able to see it with the light pollution, but it was even visible to the naked eye to some of us who had better low light vision discretion (as a vague smudge)

I'd like to try driving an RWD car hard too, FWD was very fun and perhaps easier in a way to start with, and while I understand the differences between them in theory, I wanna get a feel for them in practice
I could definitely feel the understeer and torque steer characteristic of fwd

both in terms of finding lines and basic car control, I felt really comfortable learning, so despite it being the completely opposite config from a kart (not to mention an order of magnitude bigger) and a track I've never driven before, I felt I was able to learn a lot in just my 2.5 sessions

had a great day at the track yesterday
based on my experience in the novice session and what my friend said about watching my footage, my karting experience has actually paid off pretty well in terms of skill transfer to the actual track

im out of a desktop today because theres no way my old cpu cooler will fit in my new case
i like to have my full desktop setup for class, though, so today i will be using all my available ports to make it happen

I will get more art of her in future but that's somewhat money dependent

might be able to do a free track day this week, very exciting since I've never really had the opportunity to do something like that legally before, and probably won't much until I have my own place and car

this is so cozy I really like what you've done with it
very cool especially if I'm remembering right how it started out

matrix is cool and conceptually i think federated chat works better than federated social media, and is more proven, esp given how discord operates with a similar model, its just centralized
however, there are some clunky things about the protocol and it can be really slow depending on your host

i think it only works for more isolated communities, letting people selectively close off might be good for their individual group but sucks for the platform
makes it kinda incompatible with anyone who wants a wider reach
not to mention anything federated is kinda slow by nature

I find federated stuff to be cool but it has a bunch of issues that make it unsustainable for a lot of the things people used Twitter for
bsky definitely seems set on doing that, but maybe they'll go back on it when it comes to and they realize it'll probably make some things worse
